1. Bangalore Palace
It is a scenic tourist spot with a majestic castle-like structure set surrounded by the lush green environment. The palace was built in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar and it is the smaller replica of the Windsor Castle in England.
2. Lal Bagh
This is a botanical garden is also a park. Lal Bagh houses almost 1000 species of flora and has a glass house. The park is famous for its annual flower show.
3. Cubbon Park
The park was built in 1884 by Major General Richard Sankey. It has a huge number of trees and plants that span over 68 general and 96 species. The park is also for its kids’ train.
4. Vidana Soudha
It is the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka which was built in 1954. It is a beautiful example of neo-Dravidian architecture with four domes on its four corners. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public but it occupies a stunning view at night.
5. Nandi Hills
It is the most popular and the most beautiful views of Karnataka. The hill is 4851 feet above the sea level. Apart from the viewpoint, the hill is also famous for its Nandi Temple which has a 1000 years old sculpture of Nandi. Along with the Nandi temple, an ancient Lord Shiva and Parvati temple are also famous on the hill.
6. Bannerghatta National Park
It is the home of one of the richest natural, zoological reserves. It is located 22 km south of Bangalore. This park is a major tourist attraction of Bangalore.
Wonderla is the second largest amusement park in India, which is located 28 km from Bangalore. It has the magical and most thrilling rides one can ever ride. This amusement park is one of the most popular tourist attraction in Bangalore.
8. Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace
It was originally built by Chikkadeva Raya in mud, but later on, Hyder Ali reconstructed into Indo-Islamic architecture. This beautiful palace was completed by his son Tipu Sultan in 1791. It is also a well-known tourist spot.
9. Lumbini Garden
It is an eco-friendly park for friends and family hangouts. The park is located on the banks of Nagawara Lake. It has boating facilities, some amusement rides, a walking area and a peaceful seat surrounding the lake. It has also a food court and cafeteria inside it.
10. National Gallery of Modern Art
It is a famous art gallery which was opened in the year 2009. The gallery displays modern Indian art and houses paintings by Rabindranath Tagore, Jamini Roy, Amrita Sher Gil, and Raja Ravi Verma. It also displays art by many modern and contemporary artists.
